Celtic Soup Supper

Our annual Irish Music Session to support the Lebanon Arts Center, in the new and spacious premises at 770 Cumberland Street.
Usually on the second Saturday in March between 5:00 and 8:00 PM. You can listen and eat as our musicians entertain the diners. Lovers of Celtic music will enjoy three hours of jigs, reels, hornpipes, slow airs, polkas and songs, played on a variety of instruments. Image may contain: guitar
If you have never been to a Traditional Music Session you should know that they are something between a jam session and a performance. Players sit in a circle or an arc and the turn passes round the group. Tunes are often played in sets or groups of melodies which transition easily on the signal of the leading player. Players share tunes for dancing or listening and singers who want to lead may offer unaccompanied, accompanied or communal songs
